Welcome to the château de Flottemanville. Hidden amougst the Normandy countryside at the end of a hundered years old trees alley.
Its origin can be traced to the second part of the XIIIème centrury, at that period it was used to defend this country side. Many changes have been made at the Renaissance, including the chapel, the towers and the porch surmounted by a loggia that making it one of the most attractive castles of the Cotentin. Full of history, ledgend says that the Chevalier Bayard was a regular guest at Flottemanville. Many signs suggest that the owners, at the time, dreaded the 1789 French revolution. Flottemanvile was occupied during WWII.
